Traditionally everyone invited to the ceremony will attend your reception, however with civil ceremonies on the increase, you may find that your ideal venue is only licensed for a limited number of people at the ceremony but have an entirely different minimum number for your wedding breakfast. Gatwick Manor, Crawley, West Sussex My husband and I looked around many hotels and Gatwick Manor had everything we wanted. The staff were fantastic and organised everything so we didn't need to worry on our special day about a thing. I would thoroughly reccomend if you want a small intimate wedding and invite the rest of your family and friends in the evening. We got married in the Thythe Barn in May 2002 and it was the perfect setting. My husband and I will be renewing our vowels some time in the future and we will return to the Thythe Barn for another wedding reception for all to enjoy and re-live our special day.
