Wedding Favours

Wedding Favours are a small keepsake gift traditionally for your female guests and more recently for your male guests too.

Originating from Egypt, five gold nuggets were presented to your attendants; to represent health, wealth, longevity, happiness and fertility. In later years, the Italians changed this to five sugared almonds presented in fine tulle nets called bomboniere. Today, these five sugared almonds can also be found in designer boxes, in bowls on the tables or just thrown as the Italians do, as confetti!

Wedding favours are also used to extend your theme to your table decorations or used as place settings with a personalised name tag.
